Professional Development in Haslett is planned, ongoing and intensive, and the 36 hours is supported by the district as paid professional time.

Self-directed professional development shall be no longer than six (6) hours outside of the instructional day.

District/building-directed professional development shall be as follows:

*Six (6) hours in after-school increments, not to exceed two (2) hours in duration
*Six (6) hours of staff meetings
