BOYS BASKETBALL PARENT MEETING There will be a parent meeting for all prospective boys basketball players 9-12 for the school year 2013/2014. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 15th at 6:00 PM in the Viking Room at Haslett High School. Chris Smith, the newly appointed boys Varsity Basketball Coach, will introduce himself and go over the summer schedule for the boys basketball program. |
Athletic Physicals 2013-2014 Haslett Schools are offering physicals for Girls Friday May 17th and Boys Friday May 31st in the auxiliary gym. (all Haslett students are eligible to get a physical, but it is only required for 7th-12th graders interested in interscholastic athletics and 6th graders interested in cross country). The Wrestling Club and Haslett Youth Football run through Haslett Community Education and will also require physicals. The cost is $15.00 (please bring cash or a check with you the evening of the physicals). Dr. Joseph Kozlowski and a team of doctors from MSU will conduct the physicals. If you wish your son or daughter to have a physical at the school, please complete and bring the attached form. Please follow the schedule below for appointment times.****If your son or daughter wears contacts or glasses they should bring them.****

New this year we will be using the MHSAA Physical form. The form can be found on the Haslett High School Athletic page or at: www.mhsaa.com/Portals/0/Documents/AD%20Forms/physical%202011.pdf . The Athletic Registration Fee will be mailed with the fall registration packet during early August. A physical that is taken after April 15, 2013 is valid for the entire 2013-14 athletic season.

Member schools which enforce these rules are permitted to participate in MHSAA tournaments, which attract approximately 1.6 million spectators each year.
